いろいろ初挑戦
僕はミュージックビデオに大きな影響を受けた。
と、思う。
中学か高校のとき、初めてＭＴＶを見た。
その時の感動はまだ忘れていない。
これは、映像と音楽の、新しい表現だと思った。
Peter GabrielのSledge Hammerや、
New OrderのBizzare of Triangle、
The CarsのYou might think、
そして、A-haのTake on meなどなど。
テレビの向こうから、新しい表現がどんどんやってきた。
マドンナもこの頃登場した。
で、実は…
この度、
Genki Rockets（元気ロケッツ）という
音楽ユニットをプロデュースしてみました。
音楽はYukiなどのプロデュースを手がける玉井健二さんに、
映像制作は丸野優/GLMVさんに手伝ってもらいました。
11月に欧米で先行発売する「ルミネスⅡ」に収録されています。
欧米から先行デビューです。
Heavenly Star（ヘブンリー・スター）という曲です。

世界に向けて、音楽を発信してみようぜ。
「グローバル」で「ハイブリッド」で
「ピースフル」で「ポップ」な感覚に乗せてみよう、
そんなコンセプトで作ってみました。
テーマは、「30年後のポップ」、
歌っているのは30年後の17歳です。
人類史上、宇宙で産まれた最初の世代。
まだ地球に降り立ったことがない17歳。
地球に対する熱烈なラブソングね。
今を生きる僕らにとっては、恥ずかしいくらいの。
そういえば先週、
Ｑが3周年を迎えました。
ささやかながら、新社屋でパーティをやりました。
3年、いろいろなことがありました。
会社が狭くて、あまり多くの方を呼べませんでしたが、
この場を借りて、皆様ありがとうございます。
そして、僕はまたまた飛行機の上です。
スイスのチューリッヒに向かっています。
12年前、僕に大きなインスピレーションを与えてくれた街です。
それはのちに、「Rez」というゲームになりました。
